Wooded Yard

If you have a heavily wooded yard, then you don't have too many choices. One solution is to locate several boxes around the house wherever they might receive enough sunlight. Your boxes could be on the ground or even on legs next to the house. If you had a southern exposure with enough sunlight, you could put a double-decker long box against the house. Other than that, the only choice would be to make a clearing in the woods, but that would have to be a fairly substantial area to get your SFG boxes out of the shade. If these suggestions don't work—it's shade gardening for you.
