Differential interaction

A table of host and parasite interactions (i.e., responses of resistances to parasitic abilities and vice versa) in which several different pathodemes are necessary to identify a pathotype , and several different pathotypes are necessary to identify one pathodeme. A differential interaction is also known as a variable ranking, as opposed to the constant ranking that is typical of horizontal resistance and horizontal parasitic ability. The Person-Habgood differential interaction is the definitive interaction of vertical resistance and vertical parasitic ability. Digitaria decumbens
