Looking into Your Toolbox Stuff You Need

Landscaping tools are fairly basic, and chances are that you already have a lot of what you need in your garage just waiting to be put to work. In this section, I go through some main landscaping tools. If you don't know what some of this stuff is, take the list to your local hardware store, and the workers there can help you out.

You don't need to go out and buy all the tools you don't have — many of them can be rented. Renting makes more sense, especially when tools are used for one project and then left to sit in the garage for years. Such a waste of resources! (However, do invest in a few good maintenance tools, which you'll be using over and over again.)

Whenever you're working outdoors, be sure to include the most important tools of all: plenty of sunscreen and a hat. Sunburns aren't limited to the beach — and they make landscape work even tougher.
