Rabbits aren't as productive as poultry, because they haven't invented bunny eggs (despite what you'd think at Easter). But rabbit poo makes pretty good fertilizer, and the bunnies are adorable!
A rabbit hutch usually is a single room, with all sides including the bottom made of 1- by 2-inch heavy-gauge wire (smaller for the bottom, according to some experts), a rainproof roof, and legs to keep it 3 to 4 feet off the ground as protection from predators. Avoid using wood where the bunnies can reach it; wood can be harmful to them if chewed, especially if it's painted.
