Combat Garden Pests with Homemade Pepper Spray

Get those cucumber beetles, leaf hoppers, and cabbage loopers (those very hungry caterpillars) out of your yard once and for all with pepper spray. Pepper spray doesn't hurt your plants or the environment, but most insects and other pests don't like it.

Here's the recipe: Mix 1 gallon water, 6 drops dish soap, and 2 tablespoons hot red pepper. Let the pepper spray sit overnight, and then shake it well. Store the mixture in a spray bottle and spray it on the vulnerable plants. Respray after it rains, and make sure you rinse off your veggies very well after harvesting them, unless you want them to taste like hot peppers!
