Given the ideal soil (which you should now have), sufficient moisture (which you can easily provide), and protection from pests (which you can also provide), the only other thing your crops need to perform to their maximum is good weather. For that you must say a few prayers, knock on wood every morning, or use your own secret formula to get Mother Nature to cooperate. Ultimately, I think you'll find her to be an independent soul who's not easily influenced. Let's concentrate instead on what you can do for your garden, and leave her to her own devices.
