During the growing season in their native habitat, rainfall ranges from 15-30 in. (38-76 cm). Obviously Drosera require a great deal of water when actively growing. Provide the same environmental conditions by placing the pots in 1-2 in. (2.5-5 cm) of water during the growing season. During the dormant season rainfall is nonexistent except for a few thundershowers; therefore, the medium should be kept dry during the dormant period. When the growing season arrives place them in trays of water again. Also maintain high humidity during their active growing period.
